About the Authors
Dr. Gary Chapman?s forty-plus years of pastoring and marriage counseling led him to publish his New York Times Bestseller, The 5 Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. He has since authored numerous other books and spoken to thousands of couples nationwide at his weekend marriage conferences. Dr. Chapman has also hosted national radio programs and serves as senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. Dr. Chapman and his wife have two adult children and two grandchildren, and currently live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Paul White is a licensed psychologist who has worked with individuals, businesses and families for over 20 years. He is coauthor of The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace, with Dr. Gary Chapman. The duo?s workplace resources have been used by numerous corporations, schools, and government agencies. Dr. White graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wheaton College, and went on to earn graduate degrees in counseling and psychology.
Harold Myra served as the CEO of Christianity Today International for 32 years. Author of five novels, numerous children’s and nonfiction books, and hundreds of magazine articles, Myra has taught writing and publishing at the Wheaton College Graduate School in Illinois. He holds honorary doctorates from several colleges, including Biola University in California and Gordon College in Massachusetts. Harold and his wife, Jeanette, are the parents of six children and grandparents of five. They reside in Wheaton, Illinois.
